Ooh La La event, co-hosted by LOUVRE GALLERY and Millionaireasia on 9 July 2009, marked an evening celebrating the finest of French boudoir living at LOUVRE GALLERY design ambience home. With a focus on the modern and contemporary design, Louvre Gallery is a perfect match for the refined and unique Mauboussin Jewellery with those seductive lingeries from Private Shop. In this remarkable event, models were in the sexy yet classy lingeries and pajamas, put on stage at the LOUVRE GALLERY living space with the world-known design art pieces, namely IPE Cavalli, Cappellini, Philippe Hurel, Casamilano. The collaboration brought a brand new experience to luxurious lifestyle seekers.

Louvre Gallery aspires to go beyond being a concept furniture venue and showroom – rather, it features works of art displayed in an art gallery environment. With a focus on the modern and contemporary, Louvre Gallery is a perfect match for the refined and unique Perrier-Jouët.

Chinese supermodel, Pei Bei, was a special guest of the launch event. Under the guidance of Mr Hervé Deschamps, Perrier-Jouët’s Chef de Cave, Pei Bei went through a series of psychological tests, identifying her personal “Champagne Character”. Many other celebrities had attended this gala event, all were amazed by the designs at Louvre Gallery.

An exhibition about Perrier-Jouët’s “By & For” was held in Louvre Gallery in mid-November, showcasing the entire process of creating an exclusive champagne while still having on displaying, the uber-trendy, upscale furniture collections of Louvre Gallery.

To help develop the design culture of our city, Louvre Gallery served as a vital platform to exhibit Hong Kong local design school works in the Business of Design Week. The Business of Design Week—DETOUR from 10th to 15th 2007, organized by the Hong Kong Design Centre, exhibited the design works worldwide that is present and active in Hong Kong. Its primary aim was to highlight Hong Kong design for the world at large. As one of the participating galleries, Louvre Gallery is proud to present you the vibrancy of our city and culture with the delightful atmosphere and fever-pitched excitement.

ArtWalk 2005, Hong Kong’s high profile charity art event, the fifth year since 2001, was held on 2 March. Hundreds of ArtWalkers had a joyfully artistic evening. As one of the participating galleries, Louvre Gallery has presented the artworks of three artists – Antonella Straniero, Carmen Pombo and Eydie Tai. Varieties of guests from media, designers, and celebrities such as Rosemary Vandenbroucke, Sofia Gaspar-Brisson, Jaya Jiwatram, Jeff Hung, etc. also attended and enjoyed this unique night of fine arts.
